The E-Z Tool is constructed of alloy steel and weighs 26 lbs. All assemblies are 100% modular, with no tools needed for assembly, which takes less than two minutes.
It is a hydraulically operated portable tool with multiple uses, such as: a door and window frame spreader, a 26 lb. battering ram, a vehicle rescue tool, a temporary ceiling joist support tool and a fan hanger.
Two complete spreaders (one for 24" to 32" openings and one for 32" to 48" openings) with two complete hydraulic assemblies are included with each order. Also, all the accessories shown below are included. Each size spreader can be used in both the horizontal or vertical position. The accessories are alloy steel, and consist of two padded steel end plates, two "U" shaped steel support brackets and two steel 4" x 4" post supports. Also included are two 'O' ring replacement kits, one for each spreader. Each accessory except the base 4" x 4" post support has a 3/4" thick alloy steel ball pin at one end. When assembling the tool the pin end of one accessory is pushed into an alloy steel bushing at one end of the tube and the other accessory is pushed into the open end of the hydraulic assembly. The accessories are then easily rotated by hand to the needed position. Setup time prior to use takes less than two minutes, and best of all no electric or air compressor is needed.
The hydraulic assembly is top quality, with a welded and leakproof base. It is very powerful, with a rating of 6,000 lbs. (3 tons) of force, and the hydraulic fluid will not freeze in temperatures below 32 degrees.
Included with each order are 2 complete spreader assemblies (24" to 32" and 32" to 48" models), 2 'O' ring replacement kits, all accessories shown below, one shoulder strap for the 32" to 48" model, one padded carrying bag for both size spreaders and one carrying bag for all the accessories.
